At The Nestled Coop, we believe buying a chicken coop should be clear, honest, and stress-free. A coop is an important investment in your flock’s safety and comfort, and our goal is to make sure you understand exactly what you’re paying and how your coop will be delivered before you place your order.
All chicken coops sold on our website include free shipping within the contiguous United States. We deliver to all 48 contiguous states and do not add surprise freight charges, residential delivery fees, or hidden costs after checkout. Due to carrier limitations, we do not currently ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
All-In Pricing Based on Your ZIP Code
To provide accurate and transparent pricing, The Nestled Coop requires customers to enter their ZIP code before adding a coop to the cart. Once your ZIP code is entered, the price shown on the product page reflects the total delivered cost to your location.
This price includes all shipping and freight charges. For Amish-built chicken coops, the all-in price also includes professional on-site placement at your preferred location on your property. There are no additional delivery or placement fees added later. The price you see after entering your ZIP code is the final price you pay.
Smart Coop Shipping and Assembly
The Smart Coop is designed for efficient shipping and faster delivery. Orders are typically processed and shipped within one to three business days. Once shipped, delivery via standard ground carriers generally takes between three and seven business days, depending on location and carrier conditions.
The Smart Coop ships flat-packed and requires customer assembly. It is not a prebuilt structure. Because the Smart Coop ships in multiple boxes, packages may arrive on different days. Tracking information is provided for each box so customers can follow delivery progress from shipment to arrival.
Amish-Built Chicken Coop Delivery and Placement
All Hen House Collection coops from The Nestled Coop are fully built prior to delivery. These Amish-crafted chicken coops arrive as complete structures and do not require customer assembly.
Because these coops are built to order, delivery timelines typically range from six to eight weeks. This timeframe reflects the custom construction process and the craftsmanship involved in building each coop.
Large Amish-built coops are delivered using a specialized shed trailer. The delivery team uses professional equipment to place the fully assembled coop directly onto your property. Placement at your chosen location is included in the all-in price. For best results, the placement area should be as level as possible. For larger coops, a gravel base is recommended to support proper drainage and long-term stability.
Warranty Coverage
Hen House Collection coops include a one-year manufacturer warranty covering defects related to workmanship and structural construction. In addition, the LP flooring, siding, and roofing materials used in these coops are backed by a ten-year manufacturer warranty. These warranties help protect your investment and provide added peace of mind.
Smart Coop Returns and Satisfaction Policy
The Smart Coop includes a 30-day satisfaction guarantee for verified faulty or unopened units. A Return Merchandise Authorization must be obtained before any product is returned. Approved returns must use the provided return shipping label.
If the Smart Coop has been opened, assembled, or is determined not to be faulty upon inspection, a 50 percent restocking fee will apply. This policy allows us to maintain fair pricing while continuing to offer free shipping.
Order Tracking and Customer Support
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed tracking information. For multi-package shipments, each box includes its own tracking number so you can follow delivery progress accurately.
